We have officially entered final roster prediction season.

With OTAs and mandatory minicamp behind us, training camp is the next item on the agenda. The Minnesota Vikings will have some tough decisions to make later this summer as the team enters a transition period.

One national NFL writer released an updated final roster prediction and a former first-round pick was left out.

Alec Lewis of The Athletic did not include Jalen Reagor on his latest roster projection for the Vikings.

The embattled receiver was a former first-round pick by the Eagles in 2020. Reagor would last just two seasons in Philadelphia before being shipped to Minnesota before the 2022 season. Many thought a change of scenery would bring out the talent that made Reagor a first-round pick, but that has not been the case thus far.

Reagor collected just eight catches for 104 yards and one TD in 2022. The TCU product was not exactly useful as a returner either, finishing near the bottom of the league in return average.

Lewis mentioned newcomer Brandon Powell's familiarity with head coach Kevin O'Connell (both were with the Rams), and his ability on special teams as reasons for his inclusion over Reagor.

The other four receivers Lewis has on the final roster are Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, KJ Osborn, and Jalen Nailor. This leaves Reagor, Blake Proehl, Trishton Jackson, Lucky Jackson, and others on the outside looking in.

Has Reagor done enough to warrant another year on the roster?
