Carolina Panthers edge rusher Brian Burns had a hilarious message this week for Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins.
The Panthers and the Vikings are set to meet on Sunday afternoon in Charlotte.
Burns spoke with a group of reporters on Thursday and he bemoaned the fact that Cousins typically gets rid of the ball quickly.
"He gets rid of the ball really, really fast," said Burns. "That's annoying. So if he's watching this, bro hold the ball."
I have a feeling that Cousin's won't be obliging Burns' request on Sunday when the Vikings take the field against the Panthers.
Burns is off to a quick start this season with three sacks in three games.
And that's what Cousins is hoping Burns will have after four games, too.
