With the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine in the rearview mirror, the 2024 NFL Draft feels closer than ever.

Sources have told me that NFL teams considering moving up for Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy have pinpointed the Minnesota Vikings as a threat to land him.

McCarthy has had quite the draft process already. I was made aware early in the offseason that many teams view J.J. McCarthy as one of the top QBs in this draft class. Early on, many thought, there was a cluster of QBs that could be QB4 in this year's class, but McCarthy has certainly separated himself from the pack.

As I continue to speak to sources around the league, a common theme surrounding McCarthy is that most believe the Vikings are interested in the quarterback. Here is what one source had to say:

"I'm pretty confident at this point whoever lands McCarthy is going to trade up. We believe his floor is at 11 to Minnesota, and we wouldn't be shocked if they moved up themselves to make sure they land him."

We still have over a month till we see the results of the 2024 NFL Draft and where McCarthy lands. But he is starting to look like a player Vikings' fans should get to know if they don't already.
