The 2025 NFL Draft is two months away and it's already dominating the conversation.

When you look at the Minnesota Vikings, they don't have many major needs, but they are very defined.

When you take a look at how the mock drafts are viewing the Vikings, they are the most drafted positions. Oddly enough, the offensive line position isn't focused on the interior, as there were a lot of tackles sent to the Vikings.

Mock drafts are an integral part of the discussion leading up to the NFL Draft. They help you understand who might be available at each selection. They aren't an exact science, but it provides some interesting data points.

Pro Football Focus has their own mock draft simulator where fans can do their own mock drafts. They released an article with each team's most drafted prospect and the Vikings' was Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant.

Grant is a rare blend of size and athleticism, displaying exceptional quickness for a player of his stature. He reacts quickly to counters, keeps his hands active in passing lanes, and has the movement skills to be a disruptive interior force.

Grant is a fascinating prospect. At 339 lbs, Grant is a massive human that moves incredibly well for his size. My scouting report on Grant emphasizes a supremely talented player who would thrive with Brian Flores.

Grant is a supremely talented nose tackle who was asked to do a lot of different things at Michigan. Not only did he do all of the standard nose tackle things, Grant was also asked to be a looper and a pass rusher. You don't see that from a nose tackle.

If Grant were to join the Vikings, it would allow Harrison Phillips to be kicked out to a 4i DE spot, allowing him to be a more impactful player. Grant would likely rotate with Taki Taimani at nose tackle and potentially using both of them on short-yardage snaps.

It's no surprise that fans are enamored with Grant, as he could elevate their pass rush while keeping the run game at a high level.
