When the Minnesota Vikings take on the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon, it won't just be a standard NFC North divisional game. The two teams will be fighting for the drivers seat to win the division.

Right now, the entire division is 17-5 with the Vikings and Lions combining to be 9-1 on the season and they are two of the best teams in the National Football League. the biggest matchup between the two teams will be the coordinators with Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson trying to figure out Brian Flores' defense.

What makes this matchup so interesting is how similar it is.

Brian Flores is a confined pyrotechnic

When being asked about the matchup, Flores was specifically asked about how he handles facing another aggressive playcaller. His answer was exactly what you would have expected .

"I try to fight fire with fire," said Flores. "That's just me. Some other people are different. That'd be my answer to that one."

Aggressive is the first word most would use when talking about Flores. He leads the NFL in blitz rate at 41.1% and is consistently finding ways to attack with a lot of disguise. With Johnson, he also has a lot of window dressing and combines it with a heavy amount of power run game. They like to do a little bit of everything to attack you and he does a great job of making things easy for quarterback Jared Goff.

The Vikings certainly aren't going to be scared when they take on the Lions this Sunday and the aggressive mentality will be their calling card.
