The Minnesota Vikings are set to take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night. The last time the Vikings played in Dallas was in 2019, a game that was also on Sunday Night Football on NBC, which Minnesota won.

It’s a game that both teams need to win, and their quarterbacks will be the key to getting it done. Dak Prescott needs to find a way to attack Brian Flores’ defense with CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. On the other side of the ball, J.J. McCarthy needs to continue taking a step forward, and maximizing Justin Jefferson’s output could be the key to making it happen.

The final injury report is out, and it looks a lot better for the Vikings.

Observations

  • Darrisaw sat out on Wednesday with the knee injury, and Thursday is his normal day off. Being limited on Friday means he could play on Sunday. This all stems from the ACL injury.
  • Rodriguez will be returning on Sunday from his neck injury. It’s a big win, especially if the Cowboys decided to run the ball heavily on Sunday night.

Observations

  • Guyton is a big one for the Cowboys. His being out is a big deal, as the tackle spot has been an issue for them all season long.
  • Lamb practiced in full and has been removed from the concussion protocol.
