J.J. McCarthy has second surgery on knee

What's important to note here is the timeline for McCarthy hasn't been impacted at all. He should still be ready to go by OTAs, which start around the NFL Draft in April.

This shouldn't be a major cause for concern with McCarthy, as Seifert doesn't mention any further injury to the repaired meniscus. Having surgery can allow a significant amount of pressure to be released from the knee and a biological injection can help speed the recovery timeline in the immediate future.

The Vikings still believe McCarthy is the future of the franchise after selecting him at 10th overall and they will continue to do the right thing by him every step of the way.
