Minnesota Vikings Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss has opted to step away from ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown to deal with what is being described as a personal health challenge.
At the beginning of last Sunday's NFL Countdown, Moss revealed that his family was dealing with something and that he could use help from the prayer warriors out there.
This is news that nobody wants to hear from anyone, and it hits different when it comes from someone that you cheered for over the years.
During his time with the Vikings, Moss grew into a Hall of Famer over his eight total seasons with the franchise. He was arguably the most dominant receiver the league has ever seen and he completely changed the landscape of the NFL during his time with Minnesota.
Everyone remembers Moss for being an explosive vertical threat with electric speed, elite ball tracking ability and insane vertical jump. He was also known for his antics, including coining the phrase "Straight Cash Homie" when talking about being fined.
We all wish Moss the best moving forward and hope that he has a speedy recovery from whatever he's dealing with.
