Vikings invite Randy Moss' son to rookie minicamp

Rookie minicamp is a proving ground for every UDFA. We've seen multiple players earn contracts from their performances over rookie minicamp weekend, including Thielen.

We know that the Vikings are bringing in an uber-talented cornerback in Tommi Hill, and they are also bringing in a wide receiver with impressive lineage in Montigo Moss.

Yes, he's the son of Hall of Famer Randy Moss.

Moss spent five seasons at Maine playing for the Black Bears where he ended up playing in 46 games. He wasn't the most productive player until his senior seasons this past year, where he caught 61 passes for 722 yards and seven touchdowns.

A 6'1, 220 lb receiver, Moss was relatively durable over the course of his career, missing just a handful of games. His numbers aren't that impressive, but rookie minicamp invites are an opportunity to prove what you can do.

And when you are Randy's son, it makes way too much sense to give it a shot.
