The Christmas season is one of giving, hope and happiness for many fans out there. The ones with the most happiness are often kids who see their dreams realized.

Everyone has their favorite memories of the holiday season and it usually boils down to one year when they got their favorite present, like when Ralphie got his Red Ryder BB gun in A Christmas Story.

This year, there were a lot of kids asking for one thing and it warmed the heart of wide receiver Justin Jefferson.

Justin Jefferson releases heartfelt statement about his jersey

When you are the best wide receiver in the National Football League, you seemingly have it all. Jefferson has the big contract, plenty of NFL records and fame you could ask for.

However, it was something else that gave him a great feeling this holiday season: kids asking for and receiving his jersey.

Kids haven't wanted a jersey in this high of demand since Randy Moss in the late 1990s when every kid in Minnesota had one. At that time, jerseys weren't nearly as popular as they are now and the emergence of Jefferson has changed that.

Jefferson continues to be one of the coolest players in the NFL and kids everywhere seem to agree.
