It was one of multiple injuries the Vikings suffered on Sunday afternoon, but Jefferson's isn't the only injury that the team is dealing with.

Justin Jefferson participated in a walkthrough

The Vikings were glad to see Jefferson return to practice via a walkthrough on Wednesday. It was just a walkthrough, but it's important to see him back. Head coach Kevin O'Connell talked about Jefferson and fellow wide receiver Jordan Addison's injuries.

"He (Jefferson) took part, full participant, or walk through today will probably based upon kind of a minute to minute, hour to hour. Whether he's a participant today or not, hoping to get him a little bit more work throughout the week as we progress forward, and then I know Justin's very much looking forward to getting an opportunity for play so we can avoid any setbacks or things like that throughout the week. You know, hoping to have them, but long way to go till Sunday. Jordan is kind of still in that day to day world where we just have to see how he responds, you know, to whatever (head trainer) Tyler's got planned for him, and then what he's able to take part in with us. You know, hopefully it progresses throughout the week."

We don't know whether Jefferson will practice in the afternoon but it's good to see him back in any form Taking a day-to-day approach is smart by the Vikings, as both injuries are important to get fully healed for the remainder of the season. It's very likely Jefferson plays and Addison still has a chance to get back for Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.
