Many things are going right for the Minnesota Vikings right now. The team has won five straight games and now sits at 6-4.

However, there is one area in which the Vikes have struggled all season- running the ball.

The Vikes are currently 29th in rushing offense, but there may be a fix on the roster already.

Alexander Mattison needs to be moved to the bench. Coming into Week 10, Mattison had 122 carries for 434 yards and 0 touchdowns. That's good for a paltry 3.6 yards per attempt- that is simply not good enough.

It seems like Kevin O'Connell finally realized a change is needed. On Sunday, Ty Chandler led the team in carries for the first time. Chandler didn't exactly light up the stat sheet, but he looked much more explosive than Mattison.

Chandler has the best yards per attempt on the team and caught passes out of the backfield in college. At this point, we know what Mattison is. We don't know what Chandler is though, considering he's only had 23 carries this season, and 15 of those came today.

The Vikings also have DeWayne McBride on the practice squad. McBride was incredibly productive in college and has electric speed.

Whether it's McBride or Chandler, the Vikes need someone with more juice in the backfield.
