There was a lot of speculation on whether or not the National Football League would flex the Minnesota Vikings' week 17 game against the Green Bay Packers. They have announced that the game will not be flexed and will stay at noon CT.
There was some speculation that the game couldn't be flexed into the Sunday night spot but that theory was debunked by SKOR North's Judd Zulgad with a potential new rule.
It does make sense considering divisional games are often really good draws for networks.
There is still potential for movement for the game, as there is an outside chance it could be moved into the 3:25 p.m. slot.
What would be interesting is if the Vikings got moved to the 3:25 p.m. slot, would Fox move the game between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles from that time slot? They are two of the biggest national draws in the NFL but the game doesn't have much excitement, especially since the Cowboys aren't very good this season.
They will have until next Monday to make that decision.
