Not only do the Vikings have multiple players that have made the Pro Bowl Games, they also have seven players who are alternates.

  • FB C.J. Ham: 1st
  • C Garrett Bradbury: 3rd
  • S Josh Metellus: 3rd
  • TE T.J. Hockenson: 4th
  • RT Brian O'Neill: 4th
  • ST Trent Sherfield: 4th
  • DT Harrison Phillips: 6th

The Pro Bowl nod is the first for Darnold, Van Ginkel, Greenard and Murphy. It also netted Murphy a $250k bonus for his Pro Bowl nod. The Pro Bowl may not have anywhere close to the same cache as it did years ago, but it's still an important element in terms of contracts and getting into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The other element for the Vikings is three of their free agents from 2024 in Darnold, Van Ginkel and Greenard all made the Pro Bowl. This is another feather in the cap of general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah as he is in line to win Executive of the Year.
