The Minnesota Vikings have released their final injury report ahead of their week 8 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. It has important statuses about multiple players for both teams.
- Out: ILB Blake Cashman (toe)
- Questionable: CB Akayleb Evans (hip), TE T.J. Hockenson (knee), OG Dalton Risner (back)
- Off injury report: S Theo Jackson (hand), RB Aaron Jones (hamstring), OLB Pat Jones II (shoulder), TE Josh Oliver (wrist), DT Harrison Phillips (shoulder)
Not having Cashman for the second consecutive game is going to make an impact. Not having him against the Detroit Lions ended up being impactful, especially since the dagger concept ended up being a major factor in the loss.
Hockenson and Risner are both listed as questionable. Both players could end up playing on Thursday night but would have to be activated by 3 p.m. CT on gameday, which would require a separate roster move. Risner has been rumored to replace Ed Ingram but that might not be the smartest idea.
Jones being off the injury report after dealing with a hamstring injury for three weeks is a big thing for the Vikings' offense and he will likely make a major impact.
For the Rams, wide receiver Cooper Kupp is off the injury report and will play on Thursday night. His fellow wide receiver Puka Nacua just had his practice window activated and was limited in practice. He is questionable for Thursday's game.
