The Minnesota Vikings will have to play the second half of their game against the Los Angeles Rams without starting left tackle Christian Darrisaw, as they have ruled him out with a knee injury.

The injury happened on the second to last play of the first half. The Vikings were pinned down at the three yard line. They called a simple run play to get a little bit of space before taking a knee to end the half. Unfortunately, Darrisaw got his leg rolled up on and he went down in pain.

Some have been very critical of the Vikings for calling a running play in that spot. Quite frankly, it's a non-starter. They didn't have enough room to take a knee so they called a simple duo play to create enough space. It's the National Football League, injuries happen.

The hope for Darrisaw is that the injury isn't serious and he can return next week against the Indianapolis Colts or shortly thereafter.
