The Minnesota Vikings aren't quite done prepping their roster for the 2023 season quite yet. Vikings fans will rejoice as the team found a few major stars in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and Kevin O'Connell, with limited salary cap space, have been able to manipulate and maneuver the roster to where it currently stands today.

Without further ado, we present to you the Minnesota Vikings post-draft roster. Note: Single asterisks (*) represent 2023 draft picks and double asterisks (**) represent undrafted free agents

Quarterback

  • Kirk Cousins
  • Jaren Hall*
  • Nick Mullens

The skinny: Cousins leads the way in a quarterback room that just got a bit deeper after the Vikes drafted BYU QB Jaren Hall in the fifth round. Neither Cousins or Mullens is under contract beyond the 2023 season making this a group to keep an eye on next offseason.

Running Back

  • Ty Chandler
  • Dalvin Cook
  • C.J. Ham
  • Alexander Mattison
  • Kene Nwangwu
  • DeWayne McBride*

The skinny: Dalvin Cook's time in Minnesota might be coming to an end sooner rather than later. The Vikes re-signed Mattison this offseason and drafted McBride in the seventh round. McBride led the FBS in rushing last seaosn at UAB.

Wide Receiver

  • Jordan Addison*
  • Trishton Jackson
  • Justin Jefferson
  • Cephus Johnson**
  • Malik Knowles**
  • Jalen Nailor
  • K. J. Osborn
  • Brandon Powell
  • Blake Proehl
  • Jalen Reagor
  • Thayer Thomas**

The skinny: Minnesota found its replacement for Adam Thielen with first-round WR Jordan Addison out of USC. His skillset should pair nicely with Jeffferson while Osborn could be a breakout candidate in this group for the 2023 season.

Tight End

  • Ben Ellefson
  • T.J. Hockenson
  • Johnny Mundt
  • Nick Muse
  • Josh Oliver
  • Ben Sims**

The skinny: Hockenson and Oliver figure to be the two tight end who will see the most action in 2023. Muse, Mundt and Ellefson will likely be battling it out for two roster spots in training camp.

Offensive Line

  • Ali Alan**
  • Garrett Bradbury
  • Blake Brandel
  • Jacky Chen**
  • Ezra Cleveland
  • Christian Darrisaw
  • Ed Ingram
  • Vederian Lowe
  • Brian O'Neill
  • Chris Reed
  • Austin Schlottmann
  • Josh Sokol
  • Oli Udoh

The skinny: Minnesota didn't do much to upgrade the offensive line this offseason. Retaining Bradbury was a critical move while the group aims to play more cohesively in the upcoming season.

Defensive Line

  • Ross Blacklock
  • Jonathan Bullard
  • Sheldon Day
  • Dean Lowry
  • James Lynch
  • Esezi Otomewo
  • Kenny Willekes

The skinny: The Vikings added Dean Lowry in free agency who stands to improve a pass rush that could be reeling if things can't be worked out with Za'Darius Smith.

Defensive Tackle

  • Calvin Avery**
  • Harrison Phillips
  • Jaquelin Roy*
  • Khyris Tonga
  • T.J. Smith

The skinny: Minnesota will be stout in the interior defensive line for the 2023 season. The team added LSU standout Jaquelin Roy in the fifth round to beef up the run defense. Tonga and Phillips are likely to have the most significant roles of the bunch.

Linebacker

  • Brian Asamoah ILB
  • Abraham Beauplan ILB**
  • Andre Carter OLB**
  • Marcus Davenport OLB
  • Troy Dye ILB
  • Jordan Hicks ILB
  • Wilson Huber ILB**
  • Danielle Hunter OLB
  • Patrick Jones II OLB
  • William Kwenkeu ILB
  • Troy Reeder ILB
  • Za'Darius Smith OLB
  • Luiji Vilain OLB
  • Curtis Weaver OLB
  • Benton Whitley OLB
  • D.J. Wonnum OLB

The skinny: The Vikings have an opportunity to make some noise with their pass rush, but it likely depends on Za'Darius Smith. if the two sides can put their differences aside, this group has a chance to surprise even after the loss of Erik Kendricks. UDFA Andre Carter out of Army will have a strong opportunity to make the team's 53-man roster.

Cornerback

  • Kalon Barnes
  • Mekhi Blackmon*
  • Andrew Booth Jr.
  • C.J. Coldon**
  • Akayleb Evans
  • Tay Gowan
  • Byron Murphy
  • NaJee Thompson**
  • Jaylin Williams**
  • Joejuan Williams

The skinny: Brian Flores will rely on this unit as Murphy comes in to lead a new-look group of cornerbacks. The team added Joejuan Williams in free agency in hopes to rejuvenate his career. Andrew Booth Jr. and Akayleb Evans will battle it out with third-round pick Mekhi Blackmon for snaps.

Safety

  • Camryn Bynum
  • Lewis Cine
  • Theo Jackson
  • Josh Metellus
  • Harrison Smith
  • Jay Ward*

The skinny: With an aging Smith, it's critical that this group find an answer in Cine or the third-round pick Ward. The Vikings secondary is the biggest question mark on the roster, but there is reason to believe one of the youngsters takes on a big-time role in 2023.

Special Teams

  • Andrew DePaola (LS)
  • Greg Joseph (K)
  • Ryan Wright (P)
  • Jake Podlesny (K)**

The skinny: The Vikings return the three specialists from a season ago. More consistency out of Joseph would go a long way for this team which is likely to be vying for a playoff spot come December.
