The Minnesota Vikings announced three roster moves on Monday afternoon.
They have signed wide receiver Trishton Jackson and outside linebacker Calvin Munson to the practice squad. In turn, the Vikings have released tight end N'Keal Harry from the practice squad.
It was expected that Jackson was going to be brought back to the practice squad after being release last week before the game against the Detroit Lions. They used his roster spot on tight end Robert Tonyan to preserve his final practice squad elevation with the the potential return of T.J. Hockenson, which also likely caused the Vikings moving on from Harry.
That is likely to happen this week against the Los Angeles Rams. On the estimated injury report, Hockenson was listed as a limited participant. O'Connell sounded slightly optimistic at his press conference on Monday afternoon but a final determination would be made later on in the week.
The other player the Vikings added was Munson. He was an undrafted free agent in 2017 out of San Diego State and played for defensive coordinator Brian Flores from 2018-2021. That kind of continuity will be a factor if he gets into a game.
