The Minnesota Vikings are looking to improve their record to 13-2 when they face the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon.
If the Vikings can find a way to win their final three games, they will be the champions of the NFC North and likely the number one overall seed in the NFC. It starts against the Seahawks followed up with a home game against the Green Bay Packers and a crucial week 18 game at the Detroit Lions.
Vikings practice squad elevations could be bad news for Harrison Smith
Ahead of Sunday's game against the Seahawks, the Vikings elevated safety Bobby McCain and tight end Nick Muse from the practice squad to the active roster. The Vikings have been very strategic in how they have used their elevations this season and it could be bad news for safety Harrison Smith.
Appearing on the injury report this Thursday with a foot injury, Smith was listed as questionable on the final injury report ahead of Sunday's game. Missing Smith would be a huge loss for the Vikings defense, as Smith is arguably the most important player on the back end.
Muse being activated does raise questions about fullback C.J. Ham, as he was the other player listed as questionable. The Vikings announced that Ham didn't travel with the team on Saturday but would instead be meeting the team on Saturday night.
The #Vikings announced C.J. Ham did not travel with the team to Seattle, but will arrive separately on Saturday night. Ham is questionable to play with an ankle injury that limited him Friday. The team also elevated Bobby McCain and Nick Muse from the practice squad for the game.
