The Minnesota Vikings are gearing up to face the Carolina Panthers in Week 4. The Vikings will be hoping to get into the win column for the first time this season.

On Wednesday, the injury report did not look encouraging for the Vikes. Marcus Davenport missed practice again, as did Lewis Cine, Byron Murphy Jr., and Josh Metellus. On Thursday, however, the report looked much more promising.

The only player who did not practice on Thursday is Lewis Cine. Cine is dealing with a hamstring injury. It's unclear if this injury is why Cine played zero defensive snaps in Week 3.

Davenport participated for the first time, albeit in a limited manner. Metellus, Murphy, and Bradbury were also limited participants.

Harrison Phillips and Harrison Smith both returned to practice after having a rest day on Wednesday.

Pat Jones II was a full participant after being limited on Wednesday with a knee injury. If Davenport can't go this weekend, Jones would like split snaps with DJ Wonnum on the edge once again.

Davenport has been on the field for just four snaps this season after signing a one-year, $13M deal with Minnesota this offseason. Week 4 would be the perfect time for Davenport to return, as the Panthers are allowing three sacks per game.

We will look to the final injury report on Friday afternoon to get a good grasp of who will be available. Typically with players who have a limited designation on Thursday, there's about a 50/50 shot of them suiting up.
