The Minnesota Vikings will be looking nice on Monday Night Football. The team has a bout with the Chicago Bears on November 27, and recently announced they will be busting out the throwbacks again.
The team wore these back in Week 1 against the Buccaneers, and the fits received heavy praise. While originally slated to be a one-time thing, the team will indeed wear them once more this season.
The jerseys are inspired by the team's threads of the 1960s and '70s, featuring "a deeper purple and larger, gold-trimmed numbers than the modern jersey, as well as retro sleeve stripes," the Vikings said.
The Vikings were unfortunately unable to win that Week 1 game, however, falling to the Bucs.
While many fans will be eagerly awaiting that matchup, the Vikes do have another primetime game before that. In Week 11, the Vikings are taking on the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football.
The Monday appearance against Chicago will be the Vikes' second MNF game of the season. The first such game was against the San Francisco 49ers, when the Vikes came away with a 22-17 win.
