The Minnesota Vikings are looking to build upon their huge win against the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon when they host the Baltimore Ravens.

This is going to be a huge game for the Vikings, as they are currently 4-4 on the season, and are in last place in the NFC North, one game behind the 5-3 Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions, while also being 1.5 games behind the 5-2-1 Green Bay Packers.

The first injury report for the Vikings is loaded with starters, and getting healthy is going to be a huge factor in a successful game on Sunday.

Observations

  • Darrisaw being on here isn’t much of a surprise, but being a full participant is a good thing for the Vikings. He played every snap against the Detroit Lions, and thrived against a talented unit.
  • A couple of new additions to the report are Will Fries and Jalen Redmond. Lower leg injuries aren’t great, but both ended up playing their normal snapshare, so it’s likely not going to be a big deal. However, it is worth keeping tabs on.
  • No Andrew Van Ginkel on the injury report is massive, as he’s been a huge factor in the Vikings’ success on defense.
  • Jones is dealing with an AC joint sprain and his availability is up in the air. If he does play, it will be a massive advantage for the Vikings’ offense.
