The Minnesota Vikings are on a short week which means injury reports are a bit different schedule. We got an injury report on Monday but it was just an estimation. Here is what the Vikings estimated:
- ILB Blake Cashman (toe): Did not practice
- CB Akayleb Evans (hip): Limited
- TE T.J. Hockenson (knee): Limited
- RB Aaron Jones (hamstring): Limited
- OLB Pat Jones II (shoulder): Limited
- TE Josh Oliver (wrist): Limited
- DT Harrison Phillips (shoulder): Limited
- S Theo Jackson (hand): Full
- OG Dalton Risner (back): FullT
This shouldn't be much of a surprise, but the biggest standout was Risner. He was estimated as a full participant. There have been rumblings about Risner taking over for Ed Ingram and that could be coming as soon as Thursday. Will it or should it happen? That is another question entirely.
For the Rams, wide receiver Cooper Kupp was an estimated full participant at practice, which could finally spell out his return. With Puka Nacua still out, that could be a huge addition to a team that lacks requisite firepower.
Replacing Ed Ingram with Dalton Risner is a complex equation that could cause more issues than solutions
There is a severe lack of understanding to the right guard situation
