The Minnesota Vikings' 2024 opponents were released earlier in the week, giving fans an idea of how next season will go in terms of difficulty/ease.
And, apparently, one of those games will be in London, as the NFL announced as much on Thursday. London's Tottenham Hotspur stadium is where the action happens and it's going to be counted as a Vikings home game.
The league will announce remaining details during the schedule reveal in the Spring.
The Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears, and Carolina Panthers will also travel overseas, with the Jags and Bears heading to London and the Panthers heading to Munich, Germany.
The Vikings have played in three international games since the NFL started sending teams overseas and to Mexico. They've won all three contests: A 34-27 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2013, a 33-16 win over the Cleveland Browns in 2017, and most recently, a 28-25 win over the New Orleans Saints in 2022. Minnesota has obviously done a good job, but these games are never easy to prepare for, much less win.
And, of course, the downside to all of this is it's considered a home game for the Vikings, which means fans will be docked one contest in Minneapolis. That typically doesn't go over well with most, but a win certainly helps the situation and based off history, that could certainly happen later in the year.
