It's clear how much Randy Moss means to the Minnesota Vikings.
The legendary wide receiver recently announced on Instagram Live that he has cancer, which is why he decided to step away from ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown desk.
So, after scoring the Vikings' first touchdown of the night against the Chicago Bears, Justin Jefferson made sure to give Moss a shoutout.
"We love you Randy. This is for you," Jefferson shouted while making a heart with his hands.
But that wasn't all.
Prior to the game, Hall of Fame wide receiver Cris Carter and wide receiver Jake Reed served as the honorary captains. But as they walked out, they held up the jersey for Moss, showing their support.
And Moss was touched by the gesture.
"LUV U ALL! #letsmosscancer," he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Along with the initial announcement, Moss also revealed that he had surgery in Charlotte for his cancer which was located in his bile duct near his liver and spent six days in the hospital recovering.
"I just wanted y'all to see that I did bounce back, but there's a lot of people out there that is either battling cancer or has had cancer in their family that people are fighting," he said in his live steam. "Things took the turn for the worst … y'all best believe your boy came through."
Moss also said that he will be undergoing chemotherapy and radiation to get him back to 100%. He also announced the sale of shirts the help support Moss in his journey and you can buy them at his website.
