FOXBOROUGH, MA – The New England Patriots quarterback situation remains one of the biggest questions in the NFL, so of course, Bill Belichick was asked about the plan heading into Week 13.

And once again, the head coach didn't give anything away.

"Yeah, I'm not going to make any announcements on our lineup at any position," Belichick said. "We'll see how practice goes and see if everybody's ready to go. Hope everybody's ready to go. See what the injury situation is and go with who we think is best on Sunday."

However, he was then asked if he will at least let the team know who the starter is during the week.

"I think everybody's got their own job to do and hopefully that's what they're focused on. Not what everybody else is doing," Belichick said. "Don't worry about what everybody else is doing."

Despite not letting the media in on his plans, many questioned whether Belichick already knew in his mind what he was doing. And on Wednesday, this was a key question that was asked.

"We'll see," is all he said.

Mac Jones began the season as the starter, but his poor performance has led to him getting benched four times. Yet, after each time, he is once again the first quarterback to take the field the following week.

Belichick has been known to bench players for mistakes, whether they are both minor major. But with Jones, he continues to give him another chance.

"Every situation is different," Belichick said. "It doesn't really matter. We're going to do what's best for the team based on the individual situation."

Jones and Bailey Zappe are the only two quarterbacks on the active roster, but New England brought back Will Grier to the practice squad after waiving him on Saturday. They also have Malik Cunningham on the practice squad, but he has been used primarily as a receiver.

Let's see if anything changes this week.
