The Dallas Cowboys' QB Dak Prescott had some advice for Bill Belichick regarding running back Ezekiel Elliott's playing time, saying "they need to play him more, but who am I?"

The criticism surrounding Elliott's playing time may be warranted after all. Over the first four weeks, Elliott has averaged 4.1 yards per carry, which is more efficient than Rhamondre Stevenson, who has averaged 2.7 yards per carry during the same period. Additionally, Stevenson has seen significantly more snaps.

Both player's numbers should be taken with a grain of salt, given the current state of the offensive line. The circumstances are not ideal for any player, with there being four different offensive line configurations through four weeks and they have all been underwhelming. The Patriots offensive line is currently the 24th ranked run-blocking unit in the NFL, per PFF.
