After six Super Bowl championships across 24 years, it surprised many that former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was left without a job for the 2024 season.

There were plenty of head coaching vacancies, but only one team truly showed interest. And in the end, they went in a different direction. So now Belichick's attention is turned towards the 2025 season.

But it seems that there aren't many teams who are willing to hire the future Hall of Fame coach.

In a report from ESPN's Don Van Natta Jr., Seth Wickersham and Jeremy Fowler, Belichick has told those close to him that he is interested in coaching the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and New York Giants.

However, one source had a candid admission about Belichick's hopes of getting another job.

"I don't think Bill Belichick will ever be a head coach again in the National Football League," the friend said to ESPN. "Unless it's [for] Jerry Jones.""

Jones and Belichick have been friends for a long time and with the Cowboys early and disappointing exit from the playoffs last season, many wondered if Dallas might be ready to move on from head coach Mike McCarthy. However, Jones decided to let McCarthy finish the final year of his contract. But if things don't get better, they could have an opening next season.

Plus, it's one that Belichick would reportedly be interested in.

"And Belichick told a friend that he liked the idea of sticking it to the Krafts by working for Jones," ESPN wrote. "He has told confidants he thinks he'll get at least one interview next year. Dallas could be an option, if Jerry Jones moves on from Mike McCarthy."
