FOXBOROUGH, Mass – The New England Patriots travel to Frankfurt, Germany, on Thursday night ahead of their international matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

So on Wednesday ahead of their big trip, A to Z Sports asked Bill Belichick the question that everyone was thinking.

Do you know any German?

And the Patriots head coach responded with a smile on his face.

"I don't," he said and was then asked if there is a phrase he wants to learn. "I'll have to do my homework on that one. Let me get back to you on that."

"I've been spoken to in German, I just don't know what was said."

But one reporter gave him the perfect idea of the phrase he needs to learn.

"'Patriots win,' what is that?" Belichick said.

The answer: "Patriots gewinnen."

He was also asked if the team is ready to travel, and on this one he provided a more serious answer.

"Not yet, but we will be at the end of the week," Belichick said. "A couple good days of preparation here and then compete on Sunday."

The game between the Patriots and Colts is scheduled to kick off at 9:30 a.m. ET from Deutsche Bank Park.
