Eagles have a big reason to thank Patriots after latest injury news

The New England Patriots made history this year, but not necessarily in the best way.
Their Week 15 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs became the first game to be flexed out of Monday Night Football, instead being moved to 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
And while that wasn't the best news for New England, it seems it has benefited the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles' matchup against the Seattle Seahawks was moved to Monday night, and that has become very good news for Philadelphia.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts missed practice on Saturday after reportedly dealing with an illness. And while he was expected to travel with the team and play, the latest report isn't as good.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Eagles have downgraded Hurts to questionable for the game after his "sickness worsened overnight."
So why should the Eagles be thanking the Patriots?
Because of the Patriots struggles this season, the NFL decided to take Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs out of primetime.
And they moved the Eagles in that spot instead, so Hurts gets an additional night of rest.
So not only did the Patriots give the Eagles their first win of the season, but now they are providing the star quarterback with an even better chance of playing.
Nick Sirianni should be sending Bill Belichick a thank you note at this point.
