For 20 seasons, the New England Patriots were the bad guys in the NFL. But only because they just kept winning.

So Apple TV decided to release a 10 episode documentary detailing the rise and fall of "The Dynasty." However, there have been mixed reactions since the series ended.

And former Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy is just the latest to offer his take.

Van Noy responded to questions on X, formerly known as Twitter, with one fan questioning whether he was asked to be interviewed for the show.

And he directly answered the question, while also providing his opinion on how it turned out.

"No I wasn't , I (was) made annoyed at first, but glad they didn't cuz it looks trashy now," Van Noy wrote.

He is just the latest to admit this after Patriots legends Devin McCourty and Rodney Harrison had similar sentiments. But for them, they were interviewed for this and still didn't like it.

“I interviewed for five or six hours I was in New York,” Harrison said. “And all they had me saying was, ‘F–k ‘em all. F–k ‘em all.’ That’s it.”

McCourty felt the same.

“I felt like I got kind of duped. I was like, ‘Man this is going to be great. Like, the story telling, we’re talking about this, we’re talking about that.’”he added. “Everything that we gave to the 20 years that it encompassed, they only hit anything that was negative. We won at a high level and guys stayed there. I could have left two times, I signed back. There were reasons why.”

Van Noy was also asked about these comments from Harrison and McCourty.

His response: "I've only seen 2 episodes but looks chalked."

As McCourty pointed out, the entire series followed many of the negative events that occurred with the Patriots during this time. They of course had to touch upon Spygate, Deflategate, and Aaron Hernandez's tenure with the team, but there were other moments that felt like a dig at the team rather than a celebration.

Six Super Bowl championships is not easy, but the Patriots managed to do it under the direction of head coach Bill Belichick and with quarterback Tom Brady leading the way. However, while the piece lifted individuals such as Kraft and Brady up, Belichick was portrayed in a very negative light. That seems to be the consensus among many after watching the entire show.

Let's see if any other current or former players offer their opinions.
