Earlier this month, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft announced that Bill Parcells will be inducted as a contributor to the Patriots Hall of Fame.
However, there is still room for one more person and the organization announced the three finalists on Thursday.
Alongside Parcells, it will be Julian Edelman, Logan Mankins, or Adam Vinatieri this year.
Fans can vote through April, with the winner expected to be announced in early May. (Vote Here)
So, with such a hard decision for fans, here's why each of these three players deserves to be in the Patriots Hall of Fame:
WR Julian Edelman (2009-2020)

Despite having spent his college career as a quarterback, Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots saw a lot of potential in Edelman, but at a different position.
"Especially when I was working for Bill my first stint, I remember going out and working out receivers. And the most famous story for me was Julian Edelman," former Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien said at Boston College Pro Day in March.
"We all, everybody went out there and worked him out. And Bill would tell us, 'he's not a quarterback, so don't tell me he's a quarterback. Now, don't tell Julian that. But, he's something.'"
New England ultimately drafted Edelman in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft, but nobody could have predicted what was to come.
Edelman became one of the most important members of the second half of the Patriots dynasty, going on to win three Super Bowls.
In Super Bowl LIII, where New England defeated the Rams, 13-3, Edelman was even named MVP. For all his accomplishments with the Patriots, he earned a spot on the Patriots All-2010s Team and the All-Dynasty Team.
G Logan Mankins (2005-2013)

Logan Mankins was the Patriots first round pick in 2005, and while he spent his entire college career at tackle, New England move him to guard. He spent nine season with the Patriots, being named a first-team All-Pro in the 2010 season. He was also a five-time Second-team All Pro and a seven-time Pro Bowler.
Mankins never won a Super Bowl with the Patriots, but will be remembered as one of the best in New England who allowed Tom Brady to make plays by protecting him.
Mankins has also been a finalists for this honor in 2022 and 2023.
K Adam Vinatieri (1996-2005)

Last but certainly not least is Adam Vinatieri. The former Patriots kicker spent ten seasons in New England and had some iconic kicks that will live down in franchise history.
From 1996 to 2005, he went on to win three Super Bowls with the Patriots. He also won an additional championship with the Indianapolis Colts. Due to his incredible contributions, Vinatieri was named to the Patriots All-1990s Team, All-2000s Team, 50th Anniversary Team, and the All-Dynasty Team.
He holds the NFL record for most career points scored (2,673), most career field goals made (599), most combined regular season and postseason games played (397), most career field goal attempts (715), most consecutive made field goals (44), most seasons with 100+ points (21), most made field goals in a single postseason (14 in 2006), and most career overtime field goals (11).
And who can forget his famous kicks in the the snow when the Patriots faced off against the Oakland Raiders in the 2001 AFC Divisional Round? Vinatieri nailed a 45-yard field goal with 27 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime, and then followed it up with a 23-yard field goal to give New England the win.
My Opinion
All three of these players deserve a spot in the Hall of Fame, but there is one who deserves it more this year. And that's Adam Vinatieri.
Plus, it would be a true storybook ending for him, getting to be inducted with the coach who brought him into the league. Parcells signed Vinatieri in 1996 as an undrafted free agent and he had to compete with 17-year veteran Matt Bahr. In the end, Parcells went with Vinatieri and the rest is history.
This is the perfect way to honor him after he was snubbed from he Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025.
Edelman is also a solid choice and has every right to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer too.
So, the decision is now in the fans hands.
