The New England Patriots officially announced the three coordinators for the 2025 season on Wednesday afternoon.
There have been reports circling throughout the past few days, but now, as many like to say, it's officially official.
Josh McDaniels will return for his third stint with the Patriots as their offensive coordinator, while former Lions defensive line coach Terrell Williams will serve as the defensive coordinator. New head coach Mike Vrabel has opted to keep Jeremy Springer as special teams coordinator.
So, here's everything you need to know about the three coordinators.
OC: Josh McDaniels

McDaniels has had two stints as New England's offensive coordinator, first from 2006-2008 and then against from 2012-2021. But, he first began with the organization in 2001 as a personnel assistant. And he's had a lot of success, winning six Super Bowls during that time.
Plus, he was also responsible for Mac Jones' strong rookie season that landed the quarterback a spot in the Pro Bowl and on the PFWA All-Rookie team in 2021.
So, now he gets to work with Drake Maye and help shape the future face of the franchise.
DC: Terrell Williams

Williams spent this past season as the Detroit Lions defensive line coach and run game coordinator. But, he has history with Vrabel, having spent six season with him in Tennessee. He was the Titans defensive line coach from 2018 to 2022, also adding assistant head coach responsibilities in 2023.
Here's what Mike Payton, A to Z Sports' Lions Reporter, has to say about Williams:
"Williams has been considered to be one of the best, if not the best, defensive line coaches in the league. You could see the work he put in pay off with a lot of defensive linemen putting forth solid seasons despite being the third or fourth guys on the depth chart."
STC: Jeremy Springer

Despite all the Patriots issues last season, the special teams unit continued to excel each week. And much of that was due to Springer. It's clear the players loved working with him, and his success earned him another season in New England.
