The New England Patriots are expected to select a wide receiver during the 2025 NFL Draft, and they have one of the top prospects coming in for a visit.
Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports that the Patriots are one of four teams along with the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers, who will be hosting Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan on a pre-draft visit.
Across his three years with the Wildcats, McMillan played in 37 games with 213 combined passes for a school-record 3,423 yards and 26 touchdowns. And in 2024 specifically, he was third in the country in receiving yards with 1,319 yards along with eight touchdowns.
McMillan's size and route running abilities make him a top prospect, who has proved that he can come up big in key moments. Plus, he has the speed to match it all.
Many mock drafts have McMillan around the top 10, which makes a lot of sense considering he's considered the top receiver in the draft outside of Travis Hunter.
So, unless the Patriots trade back and decide to bring in a receiver with their first round pick, it seems unlikely that he will be playing in Foxborough next season. However, anything is possible in the NFL, so we'll wait and see what happens.
