The New England Patriots are one of the many across the world who were affected by the global Microsoft outage on Friday.
It was caused by a routine software update, and has caused surgeries to get cancelled, flights to be delayed or cancelled, and stores to close.
According to the Athletic's Chad Graff, the Patriots "lean on Microsoft for a lot of what they do digitally," so they have been impacted by the outage along with the rest of the world.
Here is more information about the outage from the Associated Press.
"The trouble with the update issued by cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike and affecting computers running Microsoft Windows was not a hacking incident or cyberattack, according to CrowdStrike, which apologized and said a fix was on the way."
Patriots rookies reported to camp on Friday, with veteran players set to come on Tuesday. The first training camp practice will be held on Wednesday, and with be open to fans and media.
New England's media team even had some fun, taking photos of the rookies holding up a chalk board that says, "First Day Of Patriots Training Camp 2024."
