Armand Membou or Will Campbell?

That seems to be the biggest question surrounding the No. 4 overall pick at the moment, as the New England Patriots are expected to address their need for a starting left tackle.

Campbell has been the one most commonly linked to the Patriots in recent weeks, especially since it became clear that Colorado wide receiver and cornerback Travis Hunter is no longer expected to be available.

However, Membou has a lot of promise too.

So, with that, one NFL Draft Analyst provided some insight into which way the Patriots are leaning.

"There’s a lot of love for Armand Membou in the Patriots camp, but in recent weeks, they’ve been telling people Campbell is their guy, as he’s more of a pure left tackle,” Tony Pauline wrote in his latest two-round 2025 mock draft.

And with that, he has Membou going to the New York Jets with the seventh overall pick.

"The Jets sorely need a right tackle, and Membou could develop into a great one. He's big, fierce, and incredibly athletic," Pauline added. "The latest rumors in league circles say the Jets will work the phones attempting to move down if Membou is not available.

ESPN NFL Draft expert Field Yates on what's being said about Will Campbell's arm length.

At the 2025 NFL Combine, Campbell's arms measured at 32 5/8 inches, which is just a bit shorter than the 33 inches that the NFL typically wants tackles to be at. But, when he was measured by NFL scouts at LSU’s pro day, Campbell’s arm length was 33 inches.

That's the biggest concern with the LSU prospect.

However, Field Yates detailed what's being said about this particular issue.

"The number of evaluators who are unbothered by Will Campbell's arm length really stands out to me. I was hard pressed to find an exec or coach who doesn't view LSU's Campbell as the best tackle of this class, and those same people told me his length wasn't a concern on tape," Yates wrote. "I'm not ignoring his 32⅝-inch arm length from the combine, but most people I talked to are bullish on Campbell becoming a really good left tackle.

"He has excellent footwork, balance and body control to hold up as a pass protector."

Based on this, it's time to end the narrative that Campbell isn't cut out to be a tackle.
