Robert Kraft told reporters on Thursday that he wanted to move fast when hiring a new head coach, and he held true to his word. 

Just a day after announcing that they have mutually parted ways with Bill Belichick, it was reported that Jerod Mayo will officially take over in New England. 

A former player turned coach, the support for Mayo has always been loud, but now players are showing it publicly after the news.
