The New England Patriots appear to be in a better spot than ever heading into the 2025 NFL Draft, and that's because of all the free-agency quarterback moves.

There are numerous quarterback-needy teams, and while some were able to make a splash, other teams are still left without one. And when looking at those teams, some involve the organizations who currently hold a top three pick in the NFL Draft.

The Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, and New York Giants all pick before the Patriots are on the clock. The Giants and the Titans are in the quarterback market, having both been linked to Aaron Rodgers. New York has been heavily pursuing him, but the Steelers are also a sneaky team that is in need of a team.

So, if the Giants and the Titans pick a quarterback, it means that Patriots will get the opportunity to draft either Penn State defensive end Abdul Carter or Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter.

On Monday, Sam Darnold agreed to a three-year, $100.5 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks, while the New York Jets signed Justin Fields to a two-year, $40 million deal.

And then another domino fell on Tuesday, as Daniel Jones signed a one year, $14 million deal with the Indianapolis Colts. The Vikings were a strong option for Jones to return, but he wanted the chance to compete for a starting role, whereas with the Vikings, he would be behind J.J. McCarthy.

There are still a few remaining. Along with Rodgers, Russell Wilson is on the market, but there haven't been many reports about the former Steelers quarterback.

So, if these teams decide to take a chance on a rookie quarterback in the draft, the Patriots will be in a great position to truly take the best available player, which is how it should be for this rebuilding franchise.
