"I understand rules are rules, But I can risk my life so that my team wins but I can’t risk 1k on my team winning," Jones wrote.
The league's rule simple states, "the gambling policy prohibits anyone in the NFL from engaging in any form of gambling in any club or league facility or venue, including the practice facility, per the league."

Following the news and investigation launched into his better, Rodgers posted an apology on Twitter, taking full accountability for his actions
During mandatory minicamp, players were asked about the NFL's gambling policy, with Deatrich Wise Jr. and Kyle Duggar emphasizing that they are well informed on it.
“Bill Belichick actually talks about that in very large detail. He always tells us what we need to do, what we need to stay away from. We had a whole meeting about just that, so we do a good job of learning from Bill Belichick,” Wise Jr. said.
Duggar echoed his teammates sentiments.
"Yeah, I know the rules. We did like a meeting on it. Went over it. So, yeah. I’m good on it," Duggar said. "Not really (concerned). I’m all right."
