It has not been an easy career for one former New England Patriots first-rounder, but he is hoping this next team will be different.
N'Keal Harry is signing with the Minnesota Vikings, Field Yates reports.
Harry was drafted by the Patriots with the 32nd overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, but he was plagued by injuries and was unable to live up to the expectations.
In his first season with the Patriots, Harry started on injured reserve due to an ankle injury from training camp and was activated in November. He appeared in seven games, having 12 receptions for 105 yards and two touchdowns.
His second season saw him perform his best, but prior to his third season in New England, Harry requested a trade from the Patriots. Yet, he remained with them for the entire 2021 season. Across his three seasons he had 57 receptions for 598 yards and four touchdowns.
But before his fourth season, he was traded to the Chicago Bears in exchange for a seventh round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, but once again started the season on injured reserve. With the Bears, he has seven receptions for 116 yards and one touchdown across seven games.
So it's clear that this is not the path anyone expected from Harry.
However maybe his luck has changed.
Harry will be joining Justin Jefferson who is one of the top receivers in the league, getting to work with and learn from him.
So let's what happens.
