The Buffalo Bills have worked out former New England Patriots first-round wide receiver N'Keal Harry, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

Harry was drafted 32nd overall in the 2019 NFL draft by the New England Patriots. His tenure in New England was rocky, and filled with mostly disappointment. His acquisition was supposed to be a big turning point in the franchise's emphasis on valuing skill position talent. Up until that point, the team hadn't drafted a wide receiver in the first round since Terry Glenn in 1996. Harry not succeeding with the team has caused a trickle-down effect that still lingers to this day.

Harry started the 2019 preseason off with a couple of impressive grabs that got fans excited before sustaining an injury that would derail his rookie season. Despite his unimpressive return to the team in 2019, hopes remained high for his sophomore season. It never quite clicked for Harry, and he continued to struggle throughout his time with the team. He would finish with 57 receptions for 598 yards, and four touchdowns and appear in 33 games across three seasons with the team.

Harry and his agent would request a trade in the 2022 off-season and the wish was eventually granted with Harry being sent to the Chicago Bears for a 2024 seventh-round draft pick. In Chicago, Harry would face difficult circumstances suffering a high ankle sprain early in training camp, stunting his ability to grow with the team. Harry played seven games with the Bears in 2022 and recorded 7 catches for 116 yards and one touchdown.

Harry's performance at Arizona State was truly incredible, as he finished his last two seasons with an impressive 2,230 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns in just 25 games. However, during his pre-draft evaluations, there were some concerns raised about his ability to separate from defenders and how well his skills would transition to the NFL. So far, these concerns have proven to be valid, but despite that, the 6'4" 215lb wide receiver is still seeking to find carve out a role in the NFL.

Harry remains unsigned so far but did work out with the Philadelphia Eagles this past week and now the Buffalo Bills.
