Antonio Brown being sued

Antonio Brown is facing even more backlash since the failure of his recent venture.

The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver is facing a class-action lawsuit by the players and coaches of the Albany Empire, a team in the National Arena League, according to the Albany Times Union.

Brown purchased the team earlier this year, but it was kicked out of the league due to lack of payment and he was also fined $1,000 for Conduct Detrimental to the League due to public comments he made.

The lawsuit comes after the players and coaches found out that the paychecks for their final game were taken out of their bank accounts, WTEN-TV first reported.

Empire coach Moe Leggett was first notified about this when he received a screenshot from a player showing the money was pulled from their account. Immediately after he checked his own and found that the money was missing. Since then he has attempted to contract Brown along with his accountant, Alex Gunaris, but has not heard back.

Leggett has since said that the players and coaches are still owed $500 for the final game and he is actively looking for a lawyer.
