The New England Patriots don’t open up practices to fans until training camp in late July, but the team did open up a window to organized team activities Friday when they tweeted out a video of second-round pick Keion White.
The Patriots selected White, an edge defender out of Georgia Tech, 46th overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. He impressed in his first OTAs session open to the media Wednesday.
White began his college career at Old Dominion as a tight end. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound versatile playmaker moved to the defensive line as a redshirt sophomore before transferring to Georgia Tech.
The rookie has the ability to play anywhere from outside linebacker to defensive tackle. He showed off impressive athleticism in the pre-draft process with a 4.79-second 40-yard dash and has ideal length with 34-inch arms.
