Bill Belichick might have had one of the greatest lines regarding a top story circling the NFL right now.
The Patriots head coach was asked about the Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift saga, and Belichick had a smile on his face when speaking on WEEI on Monday.
And that certainly caught the attention of Kelce, who couldn't help but comment on that when speaking on his New Height podcast.
“Everyone, literally. Everyone, including Bill Belichick," Kelce said when addressing this major storyline. "Belichick, he hasn’t talked much about me outside of game weeks that we played.”
Belichick's comment perfectly summed up this crazy situation.
"Travis Kelce has had a lot of big catches in his career," Belichick said on Monday. "This would be the biggest.”
And Kelce reiterated the iconic quote on the podcast.
“He made sure to remind me that that’s the best catch I’ve ever had in my life,” Kelce said.
And he received some high praise from Travis' brother Jason.
“Dude, that was a great line by Bill,” Jason Kelce said.
Swift was in attendance on Sunday during the Kansas City Chief's win over the Chicago Bears, sitting beside Travis' mother in his suite.
"I threw the ball in her court and told her, 'I've seen you rock the stage at Arrowhead. You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one's a little more lit,' Kelce said on the Pat McAfee Show. We'll see what happens in the near future.'"
Swift proved to be a big football fan, cheering for Kelce and the Chiefs. And when Patrick Mahomes located Kelce in the end zone, she couldn't hold back the excitement.
Swift's reaction was unmatched, as she was jumping up and down, cheering. She even shouted "let's fu**ing go" following Kelce's impressive play.
