Is Bill Belichick a certified Swiftie?

The New England Patriots head coach couldn’t hold back his praise for one of the top artists in the world right now. Belichick was asked about Taylor Swift’s time at Gillette during an appearance on WEEI on Monday.

"I saw a little bit of Taylor (Swift)," he said about her Saturday night show in the rain. “She's tough, man. She stood out there and played right through."

Swift performed three shows at Gillette in May, with QB Mac Jones also in attendance. And by the way, Jones is also a big Swiftie, showing up to the first preseason game in his Eras Tour sweatshirt.

Belichick even gave a shout-out to one of Swift's most popular songs.

“Look, I'm definitely on the, 'you've got to calm down,'" Belichick said in reference to Swift's song titled "You Need to Calm Down."

"That's pretty good. You've got to calm down. There's a lot of times when that's very appropriate."

So, while he admitted that he doesn’t “know about that” when asked if he’s a Swifite, it’s clear that he’s among the large fanbase that follows the star. And we can't blame him.
