The New England Patriots are looking to bounce back after a devastating loss in their season opener and will have that opportunity in a divisional matchup on Sunday. The Patriots will face off against the Miami Dolphins in a primetime matchup.

The Dolphins are coming off a narrow win over the Los Angeles Chargers, with Tua Tagovailoa having thrown for 466 yards in that victory. New England will have their hands full locking down Tagovailoa along with his top target Tyreek Hill.

Here's everything you need to know about Sunday's meeting between the Patriots and Dolphins:

3 Patriots players to watch

  • OL Michael Onwenu: The guard is expected to be ready to go on Sunday after missing the season opener. He spent training camp on the physically unable to perform list, and New England decided to give him an additional week of rest to make sure he is ready to go. The offensive line has suffered a lot of injuries this week, so having Onwenu back is a major positive for the Patriots.
  • QB Mac Jones: This is a true test for Jones who put last week's loss on his shoulders. He was unable to take advantage of two prime opportunities, ultimately meaning the Patriots would lose to the Eagles. With a clear chip on his shoulder, Jones has the opportunity to prove the doubters wrong on Sunday.
  • LB Matthew Judon: They are going to need Judon to use some of his magic and stop Tagovailoa, who is coming off an impressive performance. The linebacker is known for recording numerous sacks, so New England is going to want some of that today.
