2-time Super Bowl champion Logan Ryan is officially hanging up his cleats.
The former New England Patriots cornerback announced his retirement on Tuesday morning after 11 seasons in the NFL.
"Thank you to all my family, friends and teammates for the guidance and support! Thanks to the fans for watching! Won 2 Super Bowls and got out happy and healthy to be the best father for my children! Thanks again for 11 seasons! Cheers to what’s next. #LogOut," Ryan posted on social media.
The cornerback turned safety also included a video, making the announcement
He won two Super Bowls with New England in 2014 and 2016, and then went on to have stints with the Tennessee Titans, New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Franscico 49ers.
The Patriots and the Titans were among two of the teams to celebrate Ryan's retirement.
And with the Titans, they couldn't help but poke fun at the Patriots a little bit. In Tom Brady's final game with New England, his last pass was intercepted by Ryan. It was in the 2019 playoff game between the Titans and Patriots at Gillette Stadium.
However, Ryan would later team up with Brady once again in Tampa Bay. So it seems there was no bad blood.
Throughout his 11 seasons, he has a total of 755 tackles, 13 sacks, 14 forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, 19 interceptions, and one touchdown.
