Foxboro, Mass. – The Patriots' newest signee was not in attendance for the second day of mandatory minicamp. 

Justus Tavai re-signed with New England on Monday, rejoining his older brother Jahlani Tavai, a source confirmed to A to Z Sports.

Justus Tavai's originally signed as a undrafted free agent on May 18. The defensive tackle out of San Diego State signed with New England after a successful tryout, but was released shortly after. 

While Jahlani Tavai was on the field, Justus Tavai was missing. 

Lawerence Guy did not report once again after ESPN's Mike Reiss reported that it is believed to be contract related. However, Trent Brown, who was also missing on Monday, was back on the field.
