The New England Patriots will be busy over the next three weeks finishing prep work on the 2023 NFL Draft.

That includes hosting prospects on Top-30 visits to Gillette Stadium. USC wide receiver Jordan Addison will be in Foxboro, Mass., on Monday, per a source. The Patriots pass over the talented wideout in our latest mock draft, however.

Take a look:

Round 1, Pick 14: CB Devon Witherspoon, Illinois

Witherspoon doesn't have the size the Patriots might necessarily be looking for to pair with Jonathan Jones, Jack Jones, Marcus Jones and Myles Bryant, but he was arguably the best cornerback in college football last season. It helps that the 5-foot-11, 182-pound defensive back played under former Patriots defensive assistant Bret Bielema with the Illini.

He could slot in as a starter from Day 1 and add a missing element to the Patriots' defense.

Round 2, Pick 46: OT Cody Mauch, North Dakota State

Mauch is a slightly undersized small-school offensive tackle prospect. We don't necessarily know what new offensive line coach Adrian Klemm will be valuing in offensive linemen, but the Patriots typically haven't cared about length at offensive tackle. Mauch reportedly is set to visit the Patriots this offseason.

Mauch could serve as a backup behind Trent Brown and Riley Reiff before stepping up as a starter in 2024.

Round 3, Pick 76: WR Jonathan Mingo, Ole Miss

Another pre-draft visitor, Mingo has upside as a 6-foot-2, 220 pound wide receiver with 4.46-second 40-yard dash speed and quick feet. Some Patriots fans might have flashbacks to N'Keal Harry watching Mingo given his size and big-play ability, but unlike Harry, the Mississippi product should be taken after the first round. He's been compared to A.J. Brown and Deebo Samuel, two wide receivers New England should have taken over Harry.

Round 4, Pick 107: TE Luke Schoonmaker, Michigan

It's actually kind of surprising that the Hamden, Conn.-product isn't being mocked higher. He's athletic (4.63-second 40-yard dash, 1.59-second 10-yard split, 35.5-inch vertical leap, 10-feet, 7-inch broad jump, 4.32-second short shuttle and 6.81-second 3-cone drill) and can block. He will be 25 years old during the 2023 season, however. The former Wolverines tight end participated in the East-West Shrine Bowl, where he was coached by the Patriots.

Round 4, Pick 117: iOL Braeden Daniels, Utah

Daniels played guard and both tackle spots at Utah. He's slightly undersized and might lack the length to play tackle in the NFL. The Patriots need better depth at guard, however.

Round 4, Pick 135: CB Riley Moss, Iowa

Moss tested very, very well at 6-foot-1, 193 pounds with a 4.45-second 40-yard dash, 1.49-second 10-yard split, 39-inch vertical leap, 10-feet, 7-inch broad jump, 4.15-second short shuttle, 6.60-second 3-cone drill and 11 bench press reps of 225 pounds.

Round 6, Pick 184: P Adam Korsak, Rutgers

The Patriots need a punter. Bill Belichick loves Rutgers alum.

Round 6, Pick 187: QB Stetson Bennett, Georgia

This would be fun, right? The Patriots should keep collecting quarterbacks until they know they've found their future starter, and Belichick hasn't publicly been sold on Mac Jones. Bennett is undersized and old (he'll be 26 years old in October), but he was a gamer at Georgia and could provide a push to Jones and Bailey Zappe.

Round 6, Pick 197: LB Isaiah Land, Florida A&M

Land is a 6-foot-3, 236-pound small-school edge rusher with good athleticism. Perhaps a linebacker convert?

Round 6, Pick 210: RB Evan Hull, Northwestern

Hull wasn’t overly productive as a runner at Northwestern, averaging just 4.1 yards per carry as a senior. But he caught 88 passes over his final two seasons and impressed with a 4.47-second 40-yard dash, 1.53-second 10-yard split, 37-inch vertical leap, 10-feet, 3-inch broad jump, 4.22-second short shuttle, 6.90-second 3-cone drill and 21 bench press reps of 225 pounds at 5-foot-10, 209 pounds during the pre-draft process.

Round 7, Pick 245: S Christian Izien, Rutgers

Who loves Rutgers safeties more than Belichick? He also was coached by the Patriots in the East-West Shrine Game.
