The New England Patriots have made two roster moves on Thursday.

Prior to the media-attended portion of practice, it was reported that the Patriots signed Breon Borders to the practice squad.

However, during the session, there were two new numbers on the field.

While one of them was surely Borders, the mystery of who the other player was has been answer.

The Boston Herald's Doug Kyed reports that the Patriots have also added cornerback Azizi Hearn to the practice squad.

The two made an impression after working out for the team Thursday morning.

Hearn spent the preseason with the Las Vegas Raiders after going undrafted. He joins veteran cornerback Borders, who has played 32 NFL games and has had stints on 12 teams (including the Patriots).

The Patriots are in need of another cornerback after Marcus Jones hurt his shoulder in the loss to the Dolphins, along with Jonathan Jones missing the last game with an ankle injury. New England is also without Jack Jones who is on injured reserve.
